I invite you to plug in your headphones and let Jimi transport you, prior to watching the truly amazing video I just made, about this synthesis and peace I am achieving, an ongoing process, for which, of course, room has been made, for me to enjoy leisurely, and reverently, and with giggles and dancing, today, and every day, going forward now, for me, forever.
There has been a peace achieved, a facing of self, a birth that was heralded and has come to pass. Certainly not messianic at all, just an acknowledgment of something that feels new, and solid, and otherwordly, contained in this skin, speaking through these lips, being kissed by my cat, as it moves me to tell the truth, again and again.
I will remain bawdy, edgy, probably a little filthy mouthed, and always, forever and a day, I will be a rebel. How could I not? But, whether I choose to wear leather or organic cotton, whether I eat hot dogs and steak, or a vegan diet, oh, can’t you see? It’s just preference at this point, it’s the joy of expression. It’s being culturally relevant in a world that needs someone who can speak about it and with it and to it lovingly, and articulately, but emotionally, respectfully, indulgently, with great good cheer and alarmingly sparkling humor, in comfort, in peace, and with serenity. This is my idiom, and I am well pleased…
And, yes indeed, the hour’s (finally) getting late. 😉
“All Along The Watchtower”
Said the joker to the thief,
“There’s too much confusion, I can’t get no relief.
Business men – they drink my wine
Plowmen dig my earth
None will level on the line
Nobody of it is worth.””No reason to get excited, “
The thief – he kindly spoke,
“There are many here among us
Who feel that life is but a joke
But you and I we’ve been through that
And this is not our fate
So let us not talk falsely now
The hour’s getting late.”All along the watchtower
Princess kept the view
While all the women came
And went bare-foot servants too
Outside in the cold distance
A wild cat did growl
Two riders were approaching
And the wind began to howl, hey.
